Loading Controller

We have an opportunity available in Sandton for a experienced Loadings Controller.

Expected duties: Data Maintenance: Pre-Advised Truck Capturing: Ensure all pre-advised trucks provided by LSPs are accurately captured and updated in the WIRE loading order system daily. No pending entries should remain for the next day.

ETA Amendments and Communication: Update all ETA changes from LSPs in the WIRE system daily. Maintain and save a current ETA schedule on the Share Drive each day. Outdated or missing ETAs must be followed up with the LSP via email on the same day.

Wire Discrepancy Report: Prepare a daily wire discrepancy report highlighting variances identified between the two systems, and distribute the report via email and the Southbound Logistics WeChat group.

MMS Follow-up: Issue weekly formal communications to MMS summarizing outstanding discrepancies and actively track and follow up until full resolution.

Document Amendment: Document Amendment Schedule: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date Document Amendment Schedule, ensuring all document amendments are recorded, reviewed, and updated in a timely manner. Amendment Communication & Follow-Up: Communicate required document amendments and their rationale to relevant stakeholders, and proactively follow up to ensure all amendments are completed and closed out within agreed timeframes.

Loading Reporting and Verification: LSP Master Report Processing: Consolidate and distribute the daily LSP Master Report accurately and on time.

Monthly Loading Summary Report: Submit a comprehensive monthly loading report, using the standard template, to the Supervisor and Manager, covering loading status.

Aging Document Review: Review export document aging weekly to identify and report any export document held beyond standard turnaround times, and escalate potential bottlenecks to management. Ensure the reason for export document aging is clearly reflected.

Document Time Analysis: Prepare a weekly export document time report for management, calculating the average export document time.

Loading Support on Weekend: Truck Data Updating on WIRE (Weekend): Ensure all new trucks advised by LSPs are accurately and promptly updated on the WIRE system during assigned weekend shifts.

WIRE System Amendments (Weekend): Implement any amendments requested by LSPs on the WIRE system quickly and accurately during working weekends.

Query Resolution (Weekend): Attend to all queries received via email, WeChat, or WhatsApp during weekend shifts, providing timely and effective responses until resolution.

Basic salary on offer: R 25 000.00 negotiable depending on experience with benefits.
